With tough skin and a warm heart, Galina constantly pushes Yara to do better for herself. She loves cigarettes, perfume and soap operas and when she’s not watching over her grandson, she’s buying new shoes or purses for as cheap as possible.

Some might say annoying, others would say happy and bubbly-in either case Marina is Yara’s charming outgoing childhood friend, who’s always calling her to go to yoga, clubs and double dates.

Amateur DJ, motor scooter enthusiast and Marina’s newest boyfriend Oleg, works as a handy-man doing odd jobs around Odesa. He’s goofy and somehow mysterious—Yara isn’t so sure she can trust him.
